Oh, please don't apologise, it's glorious! I love how Dougal looks almost like an angel, and Lily like a faerie - it seems true to them. The night sky and the grasses/plants beneath them all are glorious. I love Dougal's nose, too. :B And the way Minerva and Severus are so-close to touching, but not quite. Dougal's pose is thrilling. Of course your silhouettes for Minerva and Severus are also glorious. Great colour scheme and amazing piece!

The hands and looks of Severus and Minerva are great. As are the idealised ghosts. A wonderful work, as always.

As always, you convey so much with such subtlety. I don't know that I can say anything that hasn't already been said, but their free hands are so telling. Severus, aching to touch what was never his - Minerva, holding our her hand to clasp his as if she can still remember what it felt like to know his touch. Lily, capriciously flitting away from Severus, even as Dougal reaches for Minerva. And even though they are back to back, their clasped hands are so life-affirminng, showing that what they lost has been replaced with something even more solid.

I'm sorry that I feel I have to analyse your work. I should just sit back and enjoy it for its intrinsic beauty, but you put so many lovely symbolic touches - I can't seem to help myself. Thank you for sharing.

Another excellent piece. I love the contrast of the colors vs. the black silhouettes and the motion of the ghosts vs the stasis of MM and SS. That their clasped hands occupy the center of the picture is an effective touch.
