I used to be an INTP! What happened to me? Well, but some of those decisions are hard to make, they depend largely on mood, maybe?

Well, I'm in a good mood. We have just had the first progress test in Russian of the year and instead of getting the promised 15 sentences with gaps for words in the right case we got last year's end of year exam... which consists of a translation of a short text ONLY. Whee!! There will be another grammar exam and another oral exam at the end of the year.

Funnily enough our darling teacher Margaret Tejerizo gave us lots of help, we went through the text together, reading it out loud and got plenty of help with the words we didn't know... in the end we practically translated the whole text together. Not hard, it was actually fun.

So, another quiet weekend. There is a concert on Sunday with the Chapel Choir (with one of the best second sopranos in the whole wide world *hearts*) and the University Chapel's shiny new organ, I'm looking forward a lot to that.

Special wishes to Count_Tygath who's doing his Essay Test today!

Lots of hugs to all of you. Enjoy your well-deserved weekend!

*lol* teacher, huh? So, you can be sure now that you're preparing for the right job.

It's good to hear that life is being nice to you recently. Enjoy the concert, it sounds really good.

Have a nice weekend *hugs*

And I hope that [livejournal.com profile] count_tygath got through the Essay test all right, wished him good luck during the day.

Thanks and many *hugs* for your support, guys, but it unfortunately didn´t go as well as planned, I´m afraid. First everything went fine, I also got finished and paid attention to style and whatever they´re so careful about, but I think this time I´m gonna be one of the few tragic cases who went a little too far "offtopic" because they answered the question given from a slightly different angle than expected. Didn't notice that till after the test when I talked to a fellow student, who had chosen the same topic, about our solutions. Well, nothing's set in stone right now, but I think I´ll have to go though it again next semester. Just bad luck. And a stupid mistake, I made, since the topic wasn´t that difficult, after all. :(

We´ll see...

Nuuuh, that'd suck. But I'm sure you'll be fine. They'll probably appreciate your different approach!

It can't be that bad. If your arguments are all right, a slightly different angle won't be the reason for your failure. Don't worry.
What topic did you write on?

The question I chose was whether or not parenting should be an obligatory school subject nowadays, and the idea behind it were issues like recent cases of child abuse and the reasons for that. Why it still keeps happening. But I didn´t take this literally, the way it was meant, that children already should learn how to parent their kids right later in life, but whether or not adults as potential parents should sorta have to take a course that shows them how to treat their kids right, before they become allowed to have any. Something like that... Sortuva "driver's license" for kids. If something like this becomes due because of an increasing number of reported cases of child abuse during the last weeks, looking at Jessica and Tim, for example. Do I make any sense? ;)

Now it's perfectly clear to me what they wanted, of course, especially after I talked to that fellow student, who wasn´t sure himself, btw., but I also went into that test totally sleep deprived and didn´t feel like writing it at all that day, so I just misunderstood, I think. It´s bad luck, nothing else. I just felt like my head would drop on my desk, unconscious, tired as I was, cause I´d had problems with my sleep during the whole last week. Again. I could hardly keep my eyes open. Then stupid mistakes like these happen, as annoying as it is. :(

Normally it shouldn't be such a big deal, but what I really hate about it is that feeling when you know you CAN pass, but your body just doesn't allow you to show the 100% needed when it counts the most, although you normally have them in you. When a lack of sleep, among other things, limit you to such a state you sorta can't think properly, or you feel like you can't.

Hmm... not that I am the biggest Essay test expert, but I guess that's stretching the topic, not too far away from it. I mean, some people have their kids when they're about 18 or 19, not as a general rule, but some do. At that age, they ARE still at school, sooo... May all be well. Yeah, you do make sense, btw.

And sleep-deprivation is bad. :( I hope it doesn't cause any major problems.

Well, let´s wait and see... I´ll tell how it all turned out, I´ll get the results in about 2 weeks from now.

Well, the semester is almost over now, just have to pull myself together to write the term paper for Freytag, about the maiden in his AH. ;)

I´ll write you, hun. :)

I think it's a mood thing, too. I'm normally an INTP, but I know I've gotten INFP on shorter quizlets before.

And . . . HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's hoping the same'll go for my students - without me actually getting literal and using force. Tehe.
